About us

Independent Arabic journalism in science and technology — held to the highest editorial standards.

SciTech is an independent Arabic newsroom covering science, AI, space, and energy with clarity and editorial discipline for an Arab audience.

Our mission

We believe Arab readers deserve world-class science and technology coverage: rigorous editing, reliable sources, a design that respects Arabic typography, and an honest stance toward scientific facts.

What we cover

  • • AI and large language models
  • • Space exploration and scientific missions
  • • Renewable energy and future technologies
  • • Discoveries in physics, biology, and medicine
  • • Hardware, software, internet, and privacy

Editorial principles

  1. We report from published, reputable sources and link the original source in every article.
  2. A clear separation between news, analysis, and opinion.
  3. Errors corrected transparently and publicly.
  4. No sponsored links or paid content inside articles.

How we use AI

We use AI tools to monitor news from published sources, to draft and translate articles between Arabic and English, and for proofreading. Many illustrations on this site are AI-generated and are not real photos of the events.

Every article names its original source so readers can check it. If you spot an error or an inaccuracy, tell us and we will correct it publicly.

Digital Inclusion & Accessibility

At SciTech, we believe scientific and technological knowledge is a universal right. We are leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies to make our journalism fully accessible and inclusive, particularly for people with special needs:

👁️ For Visually Impaired & Blind

Screen-reader optimized layouts, structured semantic HTML, and ongoing integration of Neural Arabic Text-to-Speech (TTS) to provide high-fidelity audio versions for every story.

👂 For Hearing Impaired & Deaf

High-contrast visual reporting with synchronized, high-accuracy dynamic subtitles across all video channels, building toward automated sign-language media studio support.
